For thrity-five years, Paul Janicki Architects has been focused on new residential work as well as maintaining a specialty in renovating and expanding historic homes, and homes located in historic districts.
We have expanded our focus to the West Coast over the last several years and now have a physical presence in Los Angeles. We have worked on Vashon Island, Washington, just outside of Seattle. We have also begun working on private residences in California in Pebble Beach, Topanga, and Ojai.
With a great deal of experience navigating designs through the complicated approval process associated with historic communities, our firm has earned numerous preservation awards and accolades -- including the 2016 Margery B. Perkins Award for outstanding historic preservation for Stone Terrace Bed & Breakfast.
Our Evanston architects pair historic home renovation expertise with years of experience in preservation architecture as we proudly lead Illinois in high-end design and unmatched quality. Through the use of local materials and preserving as much as possible, we go above and beyond to exceed our clients’ expectations.
